The Design Quagmire - A worthwhile read on how taking small, deliberate steps to implement design changes can be better than a major design overhaul. There are always outliers though - I am good friends with a major design company that consistently performs major ecommerce overhauls and the results are always in the triple digits regarding sales growth after the overhaul.
